Renewables and Green Energy
Renewables and green energy sources and systems is the future, and we are heavily invested in this sector. We have and are partnered with the leading sector players in biomass energy (ethanol, etc.), wind energy, wave energy, solar energy and geothermal energy.
Riding on the back of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s plans to embrace and aggressively drive the adoption of biofuel in Nigeria, plans are ongoing to establish plants in specific locations in Nigeria to convert the abundant bio and associated man-made waste into liquid transportation fuels that are equivalent to fossil-based fuels, such as gasoline, jet, and diesel fuel. Our bioenergy technologies will enable the reuse of carbon from biomass and waste streams into reduced-emissions fuels for cars, trucks, jets and ships; bioproducts; and renewable power.
Our biomass renewable energy resource will be derived from plant and algae-based materials that include but not limited to –
- Crop waste
- Food waste
- Urban wood and organic (sewage, garbage, etc.) waste
- Purpose-grown grasses and plant material
- Forest residue and woody plant waste material
